Counselling

Wondering what to expect in a counselling session? While every experience is unique, my goal is to provide a confidential, judgement-free space where you can get to the heart of the matter, feel truly heard, respected, and supported in taking steps towards your goal. I will ask questions, give feedback, share skills and resources and above all, listen. We have few spaces in our lives where we get to slow down, reflect, and truly hear from ourselves.

Counselling sessions are offered by phone, video, or in person. Each session is 50 minutes, with 10 minutes for note taking and resource sharing. You are welcome to participate in this part of the counselling hour if you wish; collaborative note taking can provide a great opportunity to consolidate what emerges in therapy.

Clients can expect ethical practice in accordance with the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to assess your needs and determine fit. Contact me to get started.

Fees

Counselling fees are $180/session. Many major insurers provide coverage for my services as a Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT-24-003). I provide e-receipts; please check with your insurance provider for details of their coverage/reimbursement.
